Several nights a week we go out with hot meals for those who have nowhere to cook.
"One more day making food for people living on the street, and I love it." It always starts the same way: a huge pot of bolognese sauce, homemade ravioli cooked by several hands in the family, and food containers being packed one by one.
Then comes the round: a stop at the plaza, another at the Hospital del 32 in González Catán, another at the Banco Nación in Gregorio de Laferrere. At each stop, a hot meal, a short conversation, and almost always a shared prayer before moving on.
On Christmas Eve we make a special effort: special sandwiches, a Christmas bag with pan dulce and turrón, so that no one spends that night alone.
