Frequently asked questions
What does Fundación Retutu do?+
We run a daily solidarity soup kitchen, bring food to people living on the street several nights a week, support kids with after-school help, organize back-to-school drives and Children's Day each year, and share moments of faith together. Job training, healthcare and transportation are projects we hope to develop in the future.
Where do you work?+
Our on-the-ground work is mainly in the González Catán and Gregorio de Laferrere area, in the La Matanza district, Buenos Aires province.
Is this a religious foundation?+
Our full name, Fundación Dios Junto al Retutu, reflects that faith is part of who we are. Even so, we help anyone who needs it, regardless of their beliefs.
How can I donate?+
You can make a one-time or monthly donation from the Donate section of the site.
Can I volunteer?+
Yes, we'd love to have you. Reach out through the Contact section and we'll coordinate how you can get involved.
